Many people have attended P&A's events just for the silent art auction and the chance to bid on artists with disabilities' artwork. Keeping with tradition, P&A will hold a SILENT AUCTION with artwork created by South Carolinians with disabilities. Between 40-50 pieces of artwork will be up for bid in the silent auction. An artist's biography and information about the piece is provided to the highest bidder along with the artwork. All artists with disabilities keep the minimum bid they request for his/her pieces if sold. As artists agree to participate this year, we will provide biographies (updated as of 02.14.08).

Silent Auction Rules

1. Silent Auction tables are open for bidding at 6:00 p.m.

2. Each piece of artwork has been assigned a number. When bidding, please note the numbers of which piece(s) you are bidding on.

3. Bid amount increments are printed on each bidder sheet. To bid on a piece of artwork, write your name and bid number clearly on the next available line beside the printed bid amount. Bid amounts cannot be changed. No bid amounts may be written by the bidder.

4. Bidders may not remove any bidding sheet from the Silent Auction area.

5. No bidding will be permitted at a table after 8 p.m.

6. Winning bidders of each piece of artwork will be highlighted on the bidding sheets. Please be sure to visit any pieces you may have bid on during the auction to determine whether or not you are a winner!
