I've always had a love for art. I first did a lot of drawing, especially animals. Cats, Zebras, from photos or from life. When my Mom's sister died I inherited her apints, palette, and brushes. With both Mom and her sister being artists, I had many opportunities to observe them painting. Once I was ready to try my hand at painting, I went to the library checked out some books. I followed studies in the books, teaching myself how to do brush strokes and different techniques. My art has hung at the Christopher Parks Gallery in downtown Greenville. If someone enjoys my work I am honored and flattered. I think one perceives nature and everything differently once they become an artist.
