State Funding
P&A supports many activities with its appropriation from the General Assembly. P&A uses the state money to fund the Minority Rural Outreach Program (MROP) which functions through the Outreach, Information and Referral Team at P&A, and to serve clients with special education problems who are not eligible under federal funding streams.
P&A also has state legal authority under SECTION 43-33-310. However, this authority is not tied to any state funding.
