I am an African-American female,
award winning printmaker and mixed media Artist.
I have always loved art, and did art as a child in school.
I did not become serious about art, until I had a serious accident
and suffered a serious back injury. Prior to my accident I worked in
human services as an administrator. I studied printmaking with a nun who
is a master silk screener in Canada, and with a variety of fine art printmakers.
Currently, I have work in the permanent collections of The Smithsonian,
The Library of Congress, The American Museum of History,
The Woman's Fine Art Museum, The Portland Art Museum, and
The Museum's collection at the University of Miami. I love art, it is my inner voice.
I am proud to be the Artist in Residence for The Boys and Girls Club at Carver Middle School
in Spartanburg. I am a Third Generation born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Original Relief Print Minimum Bid: TBA
